President Bola Tinubu has arrived back in Abuja, the nation’s capital, after his Sallah break in Lagos.
The president landed at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport on Tuesday, where he was received by top government officials.
Among those present to welcome him were the Chief of Staff, Femi Gbajabiamila, and the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, George Akume.
DAILY POST reports that during his stay in Lagos, Tinubu mixed traditional Sallah celebrations with official duties, receiving political associates, meeting investors, and reviewing key infrastructure projects.
While in Lagos, the president also commissioned three warships alongside a regional anti-piracy fleet of the Nigerian Navy during the International Fleet Review and International Maritime Exercise, held to mark the Navy’s 70th anniversary.
At the event, Tinubu said the acquisition of the vessels reflected his administration’s commitment to strengthening maritime security, safeguarding national assets, and boosting economic growth.
