Still Working on Easter, Otedola Praises Tinubu’s Dedication

Billionaire businessmen Femi Otedola and Aliko Dangote visited President Bola Tinubu at his Ikoyi residence on Easter Sunday, focusing on discussions about Nigeria’s economy and the government’s reform agenda.
Otedola shared details of the meeting on his X handle on Monday, highlighting that the discussion centered on how Nigerians could benefit from the ongoing economic reforms.
“Yesterday (Sunday), I spent Easter Sunday with our dear President, Bola Tinubu, and my bestie Aliko Dangote. We discussed the economy and how Nigerians can benefit from the reforms,” he wrote.
He also praised the President’s work ethic, emphasizing that Tinubu’s dedication—even on a holiday—serves as a source of optimism for the country.
“On a day of resurrection and renewal, Mr President was still working. That kind of commitment gives you hope for Nigeria,” Otedola added.
PUNCH Online reports that this meeting adds to Tinubu’s series of engagements with top business figures across Nigeria.
In related events, Tinubu was visited by Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, who came to extend Eid-el-Fitr greetings and birthday wishes to the President, who turned 74 on March 29, 2026.
President Tinubu spent the Easter holidays in Lagos after inaugurating the Gateway Cargo International Airport in Iperu, Ogun State, on Saturday. He also visited Jos, Plateau State, to console families affected by the Palm Sunday massacre, which reportedly claimed at least 28 lives.
