Chelsea have reportedly joined the list of clubs interested in signing Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen from Galatasaray.

According to Soccernet, the Turkish club has placed a €150 million price tag on the Nigerian forward, reflecting his rising value in the transfer market.

The development comes amid comments from Super Eagles head coach Eric Chelle, who explained that Osimhen was left out of recent friendly matches against Poland and Portugal due to ongoing transfer discussions.

Chelle said the striker was not included because of the uncertainty surrounding a possible club move, noting that a player’s focus must be fully on the national team.

Osimhen later responded, insisting that the coach’s comments were misinterpreted and did not reflect the full context of the situation.
