MKO Calls on Isuikwuato Residents to Obtain PVCs Ahead of July 10 Registration Deadline

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate for the Isuikwuato State Constituency seat in the Abia State House of Assembly, Kingsley Okoronkwo, has appealed to eligible voters in Isuikwuato Local Government Area to take full advantage of the ongoing Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) exercise by obtaining their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) before the July 10, 2026 deadline.

Speaking during a voter sensitisation campaign in Isuikwuato on Thursday, Okoronkwo called on religious leaders, traditional rulers, youth and women groups, as well as other stakeholders, to encourage their members to register, transfer their voting units where necessary and collect unclaimed PVCs before the exercise ends.

He emphasised that possessing a PVC is the only means through which citizens can participate in the 2027 general elections and contribute to shaping the future of their communities through the electoral process.

According to him, many eligible residents have yet to register or complete the transfer of their voting locations, urging them not to postpone the process until the closing days of the registration exercise.

“Without your PVC, your voice will not count in the 2027 general election. The deadline is July 10, 2026. Do not wait until the last day,” he said.

Okoronkwo also praised officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) office in Isuikwuato for their dedication and professionalism in ensuring that residents are attended to promptly throughout the registration exercise.

He noted that the electoral officers have remained committed to assisting prospective voters and ensuring a seamless registration process.

The PDP candidate further commended the leadership of the party in Isuikwuato, led by Raph Nwankwo, for supporting initiatives aimed at boosting voter participation ahead of the registration deadline.

He encouraged all eligible voters who have not registered, transferred their voting units or collected their PVCs to visit the INEC office in Isuikwuato without further delay.

“Your PVC is your power. Get registered, transfer if needed, and collect your PVC before July 10, 2026,” he urged.

Okoronkwo expressed confidence that with active participation from residents and their support at the polls, Isuikwuato would secure purposeful representation in the Abia State House of Assembly in 2027.
