US President Donald Trump has boasted that the United States maintains what he described as a “virtually unlimited” stockpile of munitions, just days after Washington and Israel carried out joint strikes in Iran.

In a post shared on his Truth Social platform, Trump stated that US weapons reserves at the medium and upper-medium grade levels have “never been higher or better.”

“United States Munitions Stockpiles have, at the medium and upper medium grade, never been higher or better – As was stated to me today, we have a virtually unlimited supply of these weapons,” Trump wrote.

He further suggested that wars could be fought “forever” and “very successfully” using the available supplies, claiming they surpass the finest arms of other countries.

The remarks come amid escalating tensions in the Middle East following a US military campaign in Iran, reportedly code-named Operation Epic Fury. The operation began on Saturday after weeks of strong rhetoric from Trump, including calls for regime change in Tehran and demands for an end to Iran’s nuclear programme.

In response, Iran launched counterattacks targeting Israel and other Gulf nations, further heightening regional tensions.

On Monday, Trump indicated that the military operation in Iran could extend beyond a month, signalling the possibility of prolonged engagement in the region.
