Abia State Governor, Dr. Alex Otti, has disclosed that the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Bianca Odumegwu-Ojukwu, was among the prominent personalities who supported his vision to transform Abia State long before he was elected governor.

Otti made the remark in a birthday message celebrating the minister, noting that she remained committed to his political aspiration from the period he contested the governorship election under the platform of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA).

In the goodwill message signed by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Mr. Ferdinand Ekeoma, the governor described Odumegwu-Ojukwu as "an Amazon from the East," praising her courage, integrity and outstanding contributions to public service.

He said the former Nigerian Ambassador to Spain has consistently demonstrated honesty, fearlessness and excellence, earning respect both within Nigeria and on the international stage.

"On a day like this, I feel excited to celebrate my sister and friend, Ambassador Bianca Odumegwu-Ojukwu, on the occasion of her birthday. She is a woman of strong will and courage. An Amazon from the East who has distinguished herself in many facets and continues to prove that, with courage and character, nothing is too big for any human being to accomplish," Otti said.

The governor also commended her performance as Minister of Foreign Affairs, stating that although she has spent only a few months in office, she has already made a remarkable impact through dedication and commendable service.

He described the minister as a valuable asset to the Igbo nation, Nigeria and humanity, urging her to continue upholding the qualities that have made her one of the country's most respected public figures.

Otti further assured Odumegwu-Ojukwu of his continued support as she strives for greater achievements in the service of the nation.

On behalf of his family, the Abia State Government and the people of the state, the governor wished the minister a happy birthday and prayed for long life, good health and many more years of impactful service.
