Renowned businessman, humanitarian and public figure, Dr. Chimaobi Desmond Anyaso (OFUJI), has once again extended a helping hand to residents of Bende Federal Constituency by paying the hospital bills of two indigent patients through his monthly medical assistance programme.

The beneficiaries are 20-year-old Mr. Uche Ekeoma, an indigene of Ihungwu Amankalu, Igbere in Bende Local Government Area, and 50-year-old Mrs. Akiri Chinasa from Amankwo Uzuakoli. Both received financial support from Dr. Anyaso to clear their medical expenses after undergoing treatment.

Uche Ekeoma was admitted to the New Surgical Ward of the Federal Medical Centre, Umuahia, on May 6, 2026, where he was treated for a massive scrotal mass complication and successfully underwent a right inguinal herniorrhaphy. His entire hospital bill was settled through Dr. Anyaso's intervention.

Similarly, Mrs. Akiri Chinasa, who was admitted on June 6 and discharged on June 15, 2026, underwent multiple surgeries carried out by the hospital's Neurosurgery Team. Her medical expenses were also fully paid under the humanitarian initiative.

The intervention is part of Dr. Anyaso's ongoing monthly medical assistance programme, which provides financial support to indigent residents of Bende Federal Constituency who are unable to afford the cost of quality healthcare.

The beneficiaries and their families expressed deep gratitude for the assistance, describing the gesture as life-changing and a testament to Dr. Anyaso's compassion and commitment to the welfare of his people.

Dr. Anyaso has continued to receive widespread commendation for his sustained humanitarian efforts, particularly in the areas of healthcare, education and community development, across Bende Federal Constituency and beyond.
