The management of Prime Care Hospitals has refuted reports circulating on social media alleging that popular content creator Mukoro Mitchelle, widely known as King Mitchy, died at its facility in Abuja.

The clarification follows claims reportedly shared by King Mitchy’s management that she passed away after being rushed to the hospital following the alleged ingestion of a harmful substance.

In an official disclaimer posted on its Instagram page on Saturday morning, the hospital described the report as false, stating that the content creator was never admitted to the facility.

“The management of Prime Care Hospitals wishes to inform the public that the announcement of the alleged death of Miss Mukoro Mitchelle, popularly known as King Mitchy, at our facility in Abuja is FALSE. King Mitchy was never a patient in our hospital and did not pass away here,” the statement read.

The hospital further disclosed that it is taking steps to address the spread of what it described as misinformation.

“We are working with authorities to investigate the source of this misinformation and will take all necessary legal actions against those responsible. Please verify information through our official channels before sharing,” the management added.

The controversy began about nine hours earlier when a post allegedly from King Mitchy’s management announced her passing on her official Instagram page. The post featured a video in which she was said to have consumed a bleach agent during a TikTok live stream.

The statement claimed that she was taken to a hospital in Abuja where medical personnel attempted to save her life but were unsuccessful.

“We are deeply heartbroken to share that our beloved Michelle has passed on. Despite all efforts from the medical team here in Abuja, we were told her condition was critical, and sadly, she could not be revived,” the post read.

The announcement also appealed to members of the public for intervention and mentioned that her mother had reportedly fainted in Lagos and was taken to a hospital.

The conflicting accounts have generated confusion and concern among fans and followers of the content creator. As of the time of filing this report, the death of King Mitchy has not been independently confirmed by family members or relevant authorities.
